Sunflower Thanks

This card turned out to be one of my favorites.  It is inspired by the challenge from random acts of creativity.  Here is the sketch:

 

And here is what I came up with:

 

 

I knew as soon as I saw that giant flower that I must use my watercolor pencils to create another sunflower.  I then cut out the stamped image and the stamped border to give the card more dimension.

Lovely Butterfly

A few week ago one of my previous cards was featured at The Sweet Stop and I am so grateful for the recognition.  This card was again, inspired by the challenge from The Sweet Stop.  Here is the sketch:

I have to admit that I struggle with girly designs...I have never loved the color pink or anything fluffy or flowery.  But I think I did pretty well with the girl twist.
